The Founder’s Logic: The M-as-XL Paradigm

To assist in your selection, our Founder provides a personal reference for the intended REALLY COOL® silhouette:

" To achieve the intended architectural drape and the signature 420 GSM " shell " effect, I wear a Size M. In brands like Timberland, Levi’s, or Calvin Klein, I am a standard US XL. Choosing Size M in REALLY COOL® ensures the boxy form remains structural even in motion. Stepping up to an XL in our range is reserved strictly for avant-garde, high-volume editorial silhouettes."

Precision Measurement Protocol

Urban Armor Engineering® - To ensure the perfect fit, follow these technical steps:

  1. Chest (Architectural Width): Lay your best-fitting heavyweight tee flat. Measure armpit to armpit (1" below armhole).

  2. Length (Vertical Presence): Measure from the Highest Point of Shoulder (HPS) straight to the bottom hem.

  3. Shoulder (The Drop): Measure from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Note: Our Dropped Shoulder is engineered to be significantly wider than mass-market standards to maintain garment structure.

  4. Neck Opening: Total circumference of the collar edge, ensuring the high-density ribbing fits securely.

Due to the 420 GSM density, the garment retains its boxy form; measurement should be taken without stretching the fabric.

Primary Unit: Inches (in) / Secondary Unit: Centimeters (cm)

Standard: Measured Flat / Pre-Shrunk / Industrial Relaxed State

Global Silhouette & Anchor Guide

REALLY COOL® garments are engineered with an intentional, architectural block. The Urban Armor Series is fundamentally designed to feature dropped shoulders, extended proportions, and a structured, heavyweight drape.

To achieve our Signature Boxy Fit, please select your REALLY COOL® size based on your actual body chest measurements and international sizing equivalent below. If you prefer a more conventional or tailored street fit, we highly advise sizing down one full size from your suggested anchor.

Fit Notes & Measurement Context:

  • Body Chest Measurement: Wrap a measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal. The dimensions in this table represent your actual body size, not the garment dimensions.

  • The Anchor Size (M): Our Medium is calibrated as the Master Anchor. It is constructed to drape heavily on a standard US 42-44 frame, intentionally yielding a wide, cropped, and boxy visual profile.

  • (For precise garment flat measurements, please refer to our Precision Measurement Protocol above.)

" Urban Armor "

Our Design Philosophy

REALLY COOL® garments are engineered with a signature Extreme Oversized / Boxy Silhouette. Unlike mass-market apparel, our pieces are designed as an “Architectural Shell”, a structured layer that stands away from the body to provide a powerful, high-presence silhouette.

Our design logic centers on Structural Integrity:

  • Boxy Construction: An identical width from chest to hem, ensuring the garment retains its geometric form.

  • Dropped Shoulder Engineering: Strategically lowered seams to provide a broad-shouldered aesthetic without compromising range of motion.

  • 420 GSM Heavy-Knit: High-density fabric selection that emphasizes structure over drape, creating the true "Urban Armor" effect.

" Recalibrated Scale "

Critical Fit Note

To achieve the intended runway aesthetic, REALLY COOL® has recalibrated traditional sizing standards. Our sizing operates on a shifted scale to accommodate the extreme volume of the "Urban Armor" cut.

IMPORTANT: OUR SIZE M IS PHYSICALLY EQUIVALENT TO A STANDARD U.S. / EUROPEAN XL.

Trust the Engineering, Not the Label.

  • Intended Fit: If you typically wear a Standard US/EU Large or XL, our Size M will provide the precise oversized aesthetic as envisioned by the designer.

  • Downsizing: For a more conventional "Relaxed Fit," we recommend selecting one to two sizes smaller than your usual preference in legacy brands.
